Creating the Artwork.
It all begins with an idea. Perhaps the Artist wants to develop a theme or something more. Or maybe they have a creative project to pursue and engage with. Whatever it is, the joy is in the painting of it and at the end sharing it with the viewer and the world at large.

'The Rocks at Pevril Point, Dorset'. Acrylic on framed canvas. 16ins x 20ins. My favourite location in Swanage Dorset, beneath the Coastguard Station.

'Arne Sunset'. Acrylic on framed canvas. 20ins x 8ins. This painting was inspired by the BBC TV Springwatch series, which featured this very same view.

'Moon Rising.' Acrylic on framed canvas. 17ins x 11ins. A painting of a genuine red moon rising over the headland at the famous 'Old Harry' rocks.

'Kite surfing in the Bay'. Acrylic on framed canvas. 17ins x 11ins (SOLD). My son in law is a keen Kite Surfer and frequently surfs in Studland Bay near Swanage.

'Waves.' Acrylic on framed canvas. SOLD. There is nothing better than a walk by the sea, watching the waves. This features Studland Bay, Dorset.

'At Rest'. Acrylic on framed canvas. 30ins x 12ins. So many stories are attached to old weatherworn boats lying on the sea shore. I just had to paint this one!

'Old Harry Rocks, Dorset.' Acrylic on framed canvas. SOLD. A captivating location often featured on TV,

'Breaking Waves.' Acrylic on framed canvas. SOLD. A windy day on Studland beach, Dorset, was the inspiration for this Painting. A personal favourite.

'Hardfast Point and Studland Bay, Dorset.' Acrylic on framed canvas. 18ins x 14ins. Again this view has featured on TV many times and I just had to paint it!

'Old Harry Rocks and Ship, Dorset.' Acrylic on framed canvas. 18ins x 14ins. I love old sailing ships and one passing the famous rocky headland near Swanage, Dorset just had to be painted!

'Winter sunshine.' Acrylic on framed canvas. 20ins x 16ins. Despite my love of the mountains, I have rarely painted them. I intend to paint many more!

' A woodland waterfall.' Acrylic on framed canvas. 16ins x 11.5ins. A lovely, quiet wooded valley near Sherbourne, Dorset was the location for this painting.

'Sunshine in the Woodland.' Acrylic on framed canvas. 16ins x 14ins. A spring walk in Dorset with a retired Doctor friend of mine led me to this woodland clearing. Some trees had recently been felled and the smell of the cut wood and spring flowers was wonderful.

'Birches amongst the Bluebell.' Acrylic on framed canvas. 16.5ins x 12ins. Probably my favourite trees and these set amongst the Bluebells just cried out to be painted.
'Pink Roses.' A matched pair. Acrylic on deep framed canvas. My favourite flowers. Roses.

'Gemsbok in flight'. Acrylic on Canvas 14.75ins x 11.5ins (framed). Inspired by my trip to Kilimanjaro.

'Elephants on the move.' Acrylic on Canvas. 16ins x 13.5ins (framed). Memories of my wonderful and awe inspiring safari in Africa.
